Jason Hernandez

ABOUT JASON HERNANDEZ

American defender who began his MLS career with the MetroStars in 2005. He played for Chivas USA for a season before he was picked up by the San Jose Earthquakes in the 2007 MLS Expansion Draft.

He played college soccer at Seton Hall University from 2001 to 2004.

He attended the US national team's training camp in January of 2009 but didn't receive an opportunity to play for the team.

He was raised with a younger brother named Daniel Hernandez.

He and Landon Donovan both played for the San Jose Earthquakes.
