Motorcycle speedway racer who won the World Cup in 2002. He also finished second place at the Australian Championship four times.
He was the 1986 Australia U-16 championship runner-up.
He was the 1999 South Australian champion.
His father Rod Lyons was also a successful speedway racer.
He is one of Australia's most accomplished speedway racers, along with riders such as Chris Holder .
