Race car driver who set the record for the most overall race wins in the BTCC.

He attended The King's School in Tynemouth before pursuing his career.

He secured two BTCC championships: the first in 2001, and the next in 2010.

He had two daughters with his wife Sophie.

He competed with Matt Neal upon his return to the BTCC in 2003.
