Singer, songwriter and producer best known for his dance club anthems including "I'm in Love with You" and "So Happy." He frequently collaborates with Tony Moran.
He grew up singing in church choirs and local bands before competing on It's Showtime at the Apollo. He won with a cover of Oleta Adams's "Get Here" in 2001.
He first skyrocketed into the music scene with his 2005 debut album, "This Is My Life."
He came out to his family after his mother found a letter he had written to himself discussing his sexuality.
