ABOUT JASPRIT BUMRAH

Right-arm fast-medium bowler who began representing the Indian national cricket team in 2016. He had previously played with the domestic teams Gujarat and the Mumbai Indians. In 2024, he was named the Wisden Cricketers of the Year.

He began his bowling career with the Gujarat under-19 team.

He made his One Day International debut in January of 2016 in a match against Australia. His sports fame has led him to garner over 18 million Instagram followers.

He was born Jasprit Jasbirsingh Bumrah in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. He married Sanjana Ganesan in 2021. They welcomed their first child, Angad Jasprit Bumrah, on September 3, 2023.

He became a teammate of captain MS Dhoni for the Indian national cricket team.
