ABOUT JAUAN JENNINGS
NFL player known for playing wide receiver for the San Francisco 49ers . He played college football at the University of Tennessee. He was selected by the 49ers in the seventh round of the 2020 NFL Draft.
He attended Blackman High School in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. He played quarterback in high school. He committed to the University of Tennessee to play college football as a wide receiver.
He majored in business administration at the University of Tennessee. After a deadly tornado hit Tennessee in March of 2020 he turned his scheduled autograph session into a donation drop-off benefitting those affected by the tornado. He threw a touch pass to Christian McCaffrey in the first half of Super Bowl 58. In the second half of the Super Bowl he caught a touchdown.
He was born Bennie Jauan Jennings in Cowan, Tennessee to parents Angela Holman and Bennie Jennings. His father Bennie was a four-year letterman on the University of North Alabama's football team. He is the brother of Alexis and Kendal Jennings and Elizabeth, Tinae, and Tony Holman. He has an older sister named Alexis who played collegiate basketball at the University of Kentucky and University of South Carolina.
He played on the 49ers alongside Deebo Samuel and George Kittle .
