Best recognized as the son of Jayson Tatum . He goes by the nickname "Deuce." His often photographed with his father in public.

In 2017, six months prior to being born, his father was the NBA's third draft pick.

He is pictured on his father's Instagram attending several of the Boston Celtics home games.  He appeared in an episode of Starting 5 on Netflix.

His mother is Toriah Lachell. His grandparents are Brandy and Justin Tatum. He has an uncle named Jaycob.

He become friends with his father's teammate Marcus Smart while Marcus played for the Celtics.
