ABOUT JAZZIE B
British DJ and record producer best known as a founding member of the band Soul II Soul.
He first performed with friends in 1977 under the name Jah Rico.
He was awarded the first-ever Inspiration Award at the Ivor Novello Awards in May 2008.
He was the ninth of ten children born to his parents.
He has remixed and produced tracks for a variety of artists, including soul singer Isaac Hayes .
