ABOUT JEFF LEIB NETTLER ZIMBALIST
Award-winning American filmmaker who first rose to fame for his 2005 documentary Favela Rising. He has since created and directed a number of critically acclaimed documentaries such as The Two Escobars and ReMastered.
He earned a bachelor's degree from Brown University in 2000.
He has worked as a faculty member at the New York Film Academy.
His brother Michael Zimbalist is a producer and director. The two worked together on The Two Escobars.
He co-directed a 30 for 30 Shorts episode about Arnold Schwarzenegger called Arnold's Blueprint.
