Professional defenseman that was drafted by the Edmonton Oilers during the second round of the 2006 NHL Draft. He was acquired by the Montreal Canadiens via trade in 2015.

He attended Michigan State University where he played collegiate hockey for three seasons.

Me made his NHL debut playing against the Buffalo Sabres on December 28, 2010 as a member of the Oilers.

He is a native of Ann Arbor, Michigan. He lives along with his wife, Julie, and their children.

He has played alongside Brendan Gallagher and Nick Suzuki as a member of the Canadiens during the 2021 NHL season.
