American singer-songwriter who first began to gain attention for his 2017 album Suburban Destinesia. He followed that up with the albums Helvetica in 2019 and I've Got Some Living To Do in 2021. His music and lyrical content have been described as introspective and nostalgic.

He played football in high school before deciding to pursue music instead.

His first name, Jelani, means "mighty" in Swahili and his last name, Aryeh, means "lion" in Hebrew. His 2020 single "Stella Brown" has racked up more than 30 million streams on Spotify.
