She and her husband founded Marrs Developing, a company dedicated to community transformation.

She and her husband live on a working farm called The Berry Farm, which invites the public to pick their own blueberries as well as pet farm animals.

With her co-star and husband Dave Marrs , she has five children.

Her show airs on the same channel as Property Brothers , which stars Jonathan Scott and Drew Scott .
