ABOUT JERMAINE JOHNSON

NFL defensive end that was taken by the New York Jets as a first round draft pick in 2022. He was selected from Florida State University . Following his senior season, he was named ACC Defensive Player of the Year and a member of the first team All-ACC.

Initially, he began his college career at Independence Community College. He later transferred to the University of Georgia before Florida State.

While at Independence Community College, he was featured in the fourth season of Netflix's Last Chance U . In 2020, Last Chance U was given an Emmy Award for Outstanding Serialized Sports Documentary.

He grew up in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. His dog, Apollo, has his own Instagram.

He was selected during the 2022 NFL Draft just like Ahmad Gardner , Drake London and Chris Olave .
