ABOUT JEROME BOATENG

Defender who began his professional career in 2006 with Hertha BSC II and made his international debut for Germany in 2009. He helped lead Germany to a World Cup title in 2014.

He began his youth career at Tennis Borussia Berlin before joining Hertha BSC II's youth system in 2002.

He was a member of Germany's 2010 World Cup team that finished in third place.

He played against his half brother, Kevin-Prince Boateng , in the World Cup.

He Philipp Lahm were teammates on the German national team.
