ABOUT JESSICA WASHINGTON

Point guard who spent two years as a standout player at the University of North Carolina before transferring to the Kansas Jayhawks in 2015. She was previously a WBCA High School All-America Game participant and a McDonald's All-American.

She was born in Charlotte, North Carolina and won a gold medal as a member of the United States Under-17 national team at the 2012 World Championships.

She has built a large following on social media, earning more than 120,000 followers on Instagram.

Her parents are Travis and Kelly Washington.

She was coached by Sylvia Hatchell at the University of North Carolina.
