ABOUT JHONY BRITO

Professional right-handed pitcher that was originally signed by the New York Yankees as an international free agent in 2015. Following the 2022 regular season, he was named one of the Yankees top 100 MLB prospects.

He initially began his professional career playing for the DSL Yankees rookie affiliate team. He was only a teenager at the time of his professional debut.

He finished his 2022 minor league season with a career-high 11 wins. In addition to his career-high in wins, he also recorded career-low in 2.96 ERA while allowing an .230 opponent batting average.

Growing up, he lived with his family in the Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic area.

He and Gerrit Cole have both pitched for the New York Yankees.
