Successful comic book writer most recognized for his comic Amelia Rules. He was nominated for four Eisner Awards in one year, which tied him with only one other person who accomplished this.

He self-published his first work, Shades of Gray, at a young age.

He has been nominated for 4 Eisner awards in the "Best kid's comic", "Best Single Issue" (#18), "Best Lettering" and "Best Coloring" categories.

He grew up in Girardville, a small town in Pennsylvania.

Simon and Schuster re-released the first four volumes of Amelia Rules. This same publishing house also published the best-selling works of comedian Chelsea Handler .
