Combo guard player who was first scouted by colleges when he was in middle school. On his jjcrawford11 Instagram account, he posts play recaps and college offers to more than 100,000 followers.

He has been interested in basketball since he was a toddler, and would stay and watch basketball games while other kids went to play. He joined Instagram in October 2023.

He was first offered a basketball scholarship when he was 13 by the University of Montana in December 2023. On October 8 2024 both the University of Missouri and Rutgers University made him offers for their college teams. The University of Washington offered him a spot on June 10 2025. He was already 5'11" when he was thirteen.

His father is basketball player Jamal Crawford . He has said about his father "When I grow up, I'm going to be better than him," in previous interviews.

His father broke Nick Anderson 's record of most points scored by a player not in the starting lineup in April 2019.
