ABOUT JOÃO MÁRIO NAVAL DA COSTA EDUARDO

Professional soccer player who plays as a midfielder for Primeira Liga club Benfica. He made his senior debut for the Portugal national team in 2014. In 2016, the team won the UEFA European Championship.

At the age of 11, he played for Sporting Lisbon. His first full season as a senior was in 2012-13, and he appeared in 31 games.

In August 2016, he signed with Inter Milan. In 2018, he would go on to sign for the Premier League team, West Ham United.

He is married to Marta Branco Oliveira. Together they have one daughter.

In March 2016, he posted a photo on his Instagram account joaomario, that featured him alongside his Portugal teammates, including Cristiano Ronaldo .
