Born Joan Marie Laurer, she is a former WWE Diva who was a two-time Intercontinental Champion during her career.
She earned a degree in Spanish Literature from the University of Tampa.
She wrestled for the New Japan Pro Wrestling promotion and Total N Action Wrestling after leaving the WWE.
She had relationships with wrestlers Sean Waltman and Triple H ; she grew up with two older siblings, Sonny and Janet.
She became the on-screen girlfriend of Eddie Guerrero ; Guerrero called her his "Mamacita."
