ABOUT JOAN RYAN

Politician who is recognized for having served as Member of Parliament for Enfield North. In 2015, she became chair of the Labour Friends of Israel and she is now considered an Independent politician.

In 1990, she was elected as a councilor for the the East Finchley ward on Barnet London Borough Council, representing the Labor Party.

She served as a Vice-President of the All-Party Britain-Israel Parliamentary Group.

She and her husband Martin Hegarty have two children.

She has been highly critical of fellow politician Jeremy Corbyn .
