She began her career as a VJ and had a number of hosting jobs in the music industry. She previously worked as an early childhood teacher.

As a model, she appeared in music videos and men's magazines.

She has a son named Levi Blaze with recording artist Sean Paul .

She and Sean Paul married in 2012 after a 10-year long relationship.
