Best recognized as the father of internationally renowned pop sensation Stefani Germanotta, or, as she is more widely known, Lady Gaga .

An entrepreneur, he started and owns a company that install WiFi in hotel chains.

He opened the restaurant Joanne Trattoria in 2012. The name of the restaurant is inspired by his late sister who passed away from lupus in 1974.

He was born in New Jersey to Joseph and Angelina Germanotta. He married Cynthia Bissett and the pair later gave birth to daughters Stefani and Natali .

His daughter, Stefani, previously dated actor Taylor Kinney .
