ABOUT JOE TALBOT

American filmmaker who first gained fame for his work on the 2017 short film American Paradise. In 2019, he created the Longshot Features production company. That same year, he made his directorial debut with the drama film The Last Black Man in San Francisco.

He attended the Ruth Asawa San Francisco School of the Arts.

American Paradise was named Best U.S. Short at the 2017 Nashville Film Festival. The Last Black Man in San Francisco was named Outstanding Independent Feature at the 2020 Black Reel Awards.

His father is journalist David Talbot.

He directed Adele 's music video "I Drink Wine" in 2022.
