John Butler Junior
ABOUT JOHN BUTLER JUNIOR
NBA star who signed a two-way contract with the Washington Wizards in October of 2023. He was also signed to the New Orleans Pelicans and the Portland Trail Blazers. He played college basketball for the Florida State University prior to beginning his career with the NBA.
He attended Christ Church Episcopal School in Greenville, South Carolina. As a high school senior, The Greenville News named him Upstate Player of the Year.
He received many offers to play basketball from schools and universities such as the University of Alabama , Georgia Tech , the University of South Carolina , Vanderbilt University , and Wake Forest University . He stands 7' tall and weighs just under 200 pounds.
In high school, he was coached by his father John Sr. His mother Casie played college basketball for South Carolina. His younger brother Jordan also played basketball.
He and Kyle Kuzma were teammates at the Washington Wizards.
