ABOUT JOHN S. CONWAY

American artist and sculptor who made the Milwaukee Soldiers Monument, which was made in Rome and then shipped to Milwaukee.

He studied at at the Art Institute of Chicago, the Ecole Julien, and at the École des Beaux-Arts.

The bronze Milwaukee Soldiers Monument was titled Victorious Charge.

He married Agata Meloni and they had four children.

He and Antoine de SaintExupery both studied at the École des Beaux-Arts.
