ABOUT JOHN FEINSTEIN
New York-born sports writer and broadcaster who was best known for being the author of best-selling books like "A Good Walk Spoiled" and "A Season On the Brink." On television, he had appeared as a commentator on shows like "The Tony Kornheiser Show."
He graduated with a Bachelor's degree from Duke University in 1977.
He received the Curt Gowdy Media Award from the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame for excellence in basketball writing in 2013.
His father was the general manager of the Washington National Opera.
His acclaimed book "A Season On the Brink" details a year in the life of former Indiana University basketball coach Bobby Knight .
