ABOUT JOHN KRASINSKI

Best known for his role as Jim Halpert on the popular television show The Office . He has also played leading roles in such films as Away We Go , Leatherheads , Promised Land , Aloha and 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi . He directed and starred in the 2018 horror film A Quiet Place .

He was in the same high school class as his future The Office co-star BJ Novak at Newton South High School. While attending Brown University , he was a member of the sketch comedy group Out of Bounds.

In 2009, he wrote, directed and produced the film Brief Interviews with Hideous Men . He also was the executive producer and star of the Amazon TV series Jack Ryan .

He married Emily Blunt in 2010; they starred in A Quiet Place together in 2018. He and Emily have two daughters named Hazel and Violet Krasinki .

He starred alongside Steve Carell , Jenna Fischer and Rainn Wilson on The Office.
