ABOUT JOHN METCHIE III

NFL wide receiver that was drafted by the Houston Texans as a second round pick in the 2022 Draft. Prior to being drafted, he played college football at the University of Alabama . While at Alabama, he won the 2020 CFP National Championship.

He is a graduate of the Peddie Preparatory School in Hightstown, New Jersey. During his high school career, he primarily played running back.

He made his NFL debut while playing against the New Orleans Saints during week one of the 2022 preseason. He and the Texans won the game 17-13.

Although he was born in Taiwan, he grew up living with his family in Maryland.

He was taken during the 2022 NFL Draft just like Kayvon Thibodeaux .
