ABOUT JOHN SAMPSON

Longtime Member of the New York Senate who was the Minority Leader from 2011 to 2013.

He earned his JD from Albany Law School, after studying Political Science at Brooklyn College.

His Senate career came to an end when he was arrested for embezzlement and obstruction of justice.

He and his wife Crystal Sampson have one child.

He was a well-known democrat in New York, much like Senator Chuck Schumer .
