ABOUT JONATHAN DE CASTRO

Formula racer who became the Dominican Republic's first racer to be given a Formula BMW license.

He began karting as a kid, and was a star almost immediately.

In 2005 he won the Caribbean Rotax Max Challenge.

His parents are Monica Walther and Rafael De Castro.

He has trained at the Auto Sport Academy, which has produced successful drivers such as Sebastien Bourdais .
