Director and producer who won the Best Director Award at the 2003 Sundance Film Festival for his documentary My Flesh and Blood.
He made his directorial debut in 1986, on the TV series America Undercover.
In 2006, he served as a producer for the series Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.
He was raised in Sacramento, California.
He became a producer on Catfish: The TV Show, which was created by Nev Schulman .
