Television actor who is best known for his roles in the series Lovecraft Country and the film The Last Black Man in San Fransico. He has appeared in several movies and series throughout his career. He also appeared in multiple episodes of the hit Marvel series Loki .

He has graduated from Yale School of Drama.

His first major role was in the miniseries When We Rise . He has amassed over 20 acting credits throughout his ongoing acting career. In 2023, he was found guilty on two charges of assault.

He has a daughter. He got engaged to actress Meagan Good in 2024. They tied the knot in March 2025.

He was cast alongside Idris Elba in the western film The Harder They Fall.
