Eleven year-old shot and killed his father's pregnant fiancee, setting off a debate about trying him as an adult or a juvenile.

He shot his father's fiancee in the back of her head, killing her and her unborn child.

Initially a lower court ruled the boy should be tried as an adult, but a three-judge panel of the PA Superior Court overruled that decision.

There was no motive given for his decision to attack his father's fiancee.

His wasn't the first public trial of family-killing; in the 1990s, the Menendez brothers, defended by Leslie Abramson , were tried for killing their parents.
