Pianist and composer who was heavily influenced by traditional Andean music.
He began playing piano as a small child.
He was honored by the Congress of Peru in 2006.
He was born and raised in the Andes Mountain range.
He became known for blending traditional Andean music with European styles like that of Johann Sebastian Bach .
