ABOUT JOSE CHAMELEONE
Ugandan Afrobeat artist noted for his mixture of a number of musical styles, including reggae, zouk, and African rumba. He released his debut album, Bageya, in 2000. Some of his popular songs include "Jamila," "Valu Valu," and "Wale Wale."
He began his music career as a DJ in Kampala.
He is known for singing in English, Swahili, and Luganda. He shares photos and video clips of his live performances on his jchameleon Instagram account, where he has gained upwards of 1.1 million followers. He uses major streaming platforms to release some of his music, and by May of 2023 had seen the following on his Spotify page grow to more than 35,000 monthly listeners.
His real name is Joseph Mayanja. His parents are Gerald and Prossy Mayanja.
