ABOUT JOSE DáVILA

Sculptor and multidisciplinary artist. He also does 2D work such as painting, drawing, and prints. On his josedavila Instagram page, he has 40,000 followers who can see some of his work in different galleries and things from his life.

He started his education when he studied architecture in the 90s at the Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Occidente in Guadalajara, Mexico. Even though he has some education in a different field, he considers himself a self-taught artist.

His sculptures involve complicated work with stone, construction materials, and other recycled items. Some of the topics his work represents are stone and it's relationship to the human world.

He is from Mexico.

His work is on display at the Guggenheim Museum in New York City. Some other artists displayed there include Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein .
