Australian basketball player famous for playing for the Oklahoma City Thunder . He previously played for the Adelaide 36ers. He gained popularity for winning Rookie of the Month for February of 2022. In June 2024, he was traded to the Chicago Bulls.

He trained with the NBA Global Academy at the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra.

He promotes his basketball career on his joshgiddey Instagram page, which has amassed 480,000 followers.

His father was a professional basketball player who played for the Melbourne Tigers.

He teamed up with Chet Holmgren and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander on the Oklahoma City Thunder in 2022.  The threesome helped the Thunder become one of the most feared up and coming teams in the NBA.
