ABOUT JOSHUA PALMER

NFL wide receiver that was selected by the Los Angeles Chargers as a third round pick in the 2021 Draft. Prior to being drafted, he played college football at the University of Tennessee . Following his 2019 season, he was named to the SEC All-Academic team.

He was considered a three-star prospect while at St. Thomas Aquinas High School. As a senior, he won the Florida 7A division State Championship. He played both offense and defense in high school.

He is one of few Canadian-born football players to reach the NFL. Some other notable Canadian NFL players are Chase Claypool and Chuba Hubbard . The Chargers drafted him to be a deep threat in their offense and compliment players like Mike Williams and Keenan Allen.

He grew up living with his parents in Brampton, Canada. He was born of Jamaican descent.

He played alongside Austin Ekeler and Keenan Allen as a member of the Chargers during the 2022 NFL season.
