ABOUT JUDITH BUTLER
Modern philosopher most recognized for their published works on feminist and queer theory.
They graduated from Yale University where they obtained their Ph.D. in Philosophy in 1984.
They were awarded the Theodor W. Adorno Award in 2012 for their work on political theory, gender studies, and moral philosophy.
Their family was residing in Cleveland, Ohio, when they was born.
They taught classes on Comparative Literature at UC Berkeley for many years, the same school soap opera actress Molly Stanton once attended.
