ABOUT JUKKA BACKLUND

Musician, songwriter, and music producer best known as the keyboardist of the Finnish pop-rock band Sunrise Avenue . He produced On the Way to Wonderland, the band's debut, international hit album.

He started playing the piano when he was just five years old and later attended Sibelius Academy, a prestigious music school in Helsinki, Finland.

His numerous musical honors include Impala, Eksa, and Radio Regenbogen awards, as well as several Finnish Grammys.

With his brother Tapio, he formed a band called DEAD SIRIUS 3000.

He co-wrote many Sunrise Avenue songs with the band's lead vocalist, Samu Haber .
