ABOUT JULES MARTIN

Swiss politician known for being the former President of the National Council of Switzerland in 1856. In this role, he presided over the Council of States and National Council.

He served on the Council of States from January 1851 to January 1852.

He served on the National Council from April 1854 to February 1860.

He was born in Geneva, Switzerland.

He and Jean-Paul Marat were both Swiss political leaders.
