ABOUT JUSTIN CHRISTOPHER WREN

Mixed martial artist and social activist whose fighting career turned into a platform for the pygmy people of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. He helped found the Fight for the Forgotten initiative. His fighting fame has led him to amass over 160,000 followers on Instagram.

A talented Greco-Roman wrestler, his college wrestling career was derailed by an injury. He then started competing in MMA and was eventually selected to be part of The Ultimate Fighter: Heavyweights.

He took five years away from professional fighting in 2010, during which time he found his passion for helping people. He wrote a book called Fight for the Forgotten about his experiences in the DRC.

He married Emily Wren in 2014. Since starting his work in the DRC, he's gone by the nickname "The Big Pygmy."

He was part of Rashad Evans ' team on The Ultimate Fighter: Heavyweights.
