ABOUT KARIM MAATAOUI

German musician best known as a founding member of the boy band Touché, which was established in 1996 by music producer Dieter Bohlen . He was a significant contributor to the band's meteoric rise in popularity preceding his departure from the group in 1999, at which time he was replaced by Stuart Fords.

While performing with Touché, the renowned boy band achieved significant success and sold more than 5.4 million albums. The group also participated in the international charity single "Let the Music Heal Your Soul" alongside American musical groups including Backstreet Boys and NSYNC .

After leaving Touché in 1999, he pursued a solo music career and released a single called "Just Wanna Love You" in 2000. He was also featured on popular German shows like Big Brother and Die Burg. He later transitioned his career toward marketing and PR before relocating to Cyprus in 2021.

He is originally from Germany.

He performed with the musical group Touché alongside fellow members including Glenn Frey .
