She was a dancer when she met Bob Guccione , who gave her a job selling advertisements.

In addition to her work at Penthouse, she founded several more magazine titles and wrote two books.

She lived with Bob Guccione for a long time before marrying him.

She was the plaintiff in a lawsuit against Larry Flynt and Hustler magazine, and died on September 23, 1997.
