ABOUT KATLYN CHOOKAGIAN

American professional mixed martial artist and athlete who is best known for competing in the bantamweight division and in the flyweight division in the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

She started training karate when she was four years old, and started fighting as an amateur in mixed martial arts in the year 2012. She graduated from Quakertown Senior High School. She earned a bachelor's degree in business management and marketing from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

She is the co-host of the Burning The Boats Podcast alongside her husband. Her teammates and training partners include Gordon Ryan , Claudia Gadelha , and Frankie Edgar . Cerminara is scheduled to face Maycee Barber on March 9, 2024, at UFC 299.

She is of Armenian descent. She has been married to Kyle Cerminara.

In May of 2022, she faced Amanda Ribas on UFC on ESPN 36, where she also won her first Fight of the Night bonus award.
