ABOUT KAYLA MCBRIDE

Women's basketball player who was drafted by the San Antonio Stars with the third overall pick in the 2014 WNBA Draft. With Notre Dame, she made an NCAA Championship appearance during her senior season.

She was a four-year letter-winner at Villa Maria Academy and won two Pennsylvania Class AA state titles.

She won a gold medal at the 2011 FIBA Under-19 Women's World Championship representing the United States.

Her younger sister, Karlee, has played basketball at Indiana University.

She and Stefanie Dolson were both taken in the first round of the 2014 WNBA Draft.
