Her other younger brother Chris passed away at a young age when he was in a fatal car crash. Her brother has openly discussed the impact her death has had on him in People Magazine.
She was survived by three children and her husband. Following her husband's passing in 2014, her three children were raised by her brother Luke and his wife Caroline .
