NBA guard/forward who played for 3 teams in his 10 seasons in the NBA, a two-time NBA All-Star.

He started every year at the University of Notre Dame, where he led the team in scoring all four seasons.

The Detroit Pistons drafted him out of college and he later became a commentator for the Pistons for 8 years.

His father was Pro Bowl NFL quarterback Frank Tripucka.

He was teammates with Utah Jazz legend John Stockton for two seasons.
