ABOUT KEN CARTER
Inspirational High School basketball coach best known for his work at Richmond High School in California. He opened a boarding school called Coach Carter Impact Academy in 2009. He has a booked titled, "Yes Ma'am, No Sir: The 12 Essential Steps for Success in Life".
He attended San Francisco State University and George Fox University, where he played basketball.
He carried the Olympic torch in the 2002 Winter Olympics. He coached a Slamball team named Rumble.
He was raised in an abusive family.
He was portrayed by Samuel L. Jackson in the film Coach Carter.
